On December 18, Son of a Sailor was featured live on Great Day SA on KENS 5, and we loved the opportunity to share a closer look at what we make, what we offer, and why community is at the heart of everything we do.
During the segment, we showcased a selection of the jewelry and leather goods we make in house, highlighting the craftsmanship, materials, and thoughtful details that go into every piece. From everyday staples to special occasion favorites, it was a chance to show what makes Son of a Sailor a go-to destination for well-made, meaningful goods.
We also talked about some of the newest offerings at the shop, including our permanent bangles. Unlike traditional chain-style permanent jewelry, our bangles have a distinct look and feel that sets them apart. Another highlight of the segment was sharing how much we love hosting in-store events. We truly believe shopping should feel personal and communal, which is why we’re hosting a gift wrapping event this holiday season, on December 21st. Bringing people into the shop, creating space to connect, and making the holidays feel a little more joyful is something we care deeply about.
