Nolan & Pine: A New Look and Name for Our Space in San Antonio's Dignowity Hill

Posted by Abigail Edwards on

Big things are happening on the East Side! What was once known as Dignowity Center has a brand-new name, a fresh coat of paint, and a big ol’ mural in the works. We’re officially introducing Nolan & Pine, a small business hub located in the heart of San Antonio’s historic Dignowity Hill neighborhood. Check out the before and after of our exterior!

If you’ve been with us since the beginning, you know we started this journey two years ago by renovating the inside of our building, transforming it into the vibrant studio and storefront you see today (see before and after pics below)! Now, we’ve turned our attention outward.

The exterior has gotten a full refresh with a bold coat of clean white paint, and soon, a colorful mural will bring even more life to the corner of Nolan and Pine Street. It’s our way of reflecting the creative energy and community spirit that’s been growing inside these walls since day one.

Why the Name Change?

We loved being Dignowity Center, but it was time for something that truly captured the vibe and vision of the space. Nolan & Pine grounds us right where we are — at the crossroads of heritage and creativity, in one of San Antonio’s most iconic and fast-evolving neighborhoods.

What's Next?

We’re not just stopping here. A new mural is on the way, designed to clearly mark our businesses so we are easy to spot! Come check out the transformation in person. Whether you’re new to Dignowity Hill or already part of the neighborhood, Nolan & Pine is your go-to spot for creativity, collaboration, and good vibes. Stay tuned for updates as our mural takes shape.
