The Millicent is a part of our Femina collection, which celebrates simple, modern forms and natural materials. Based on striking neutrals, intentional strokes of color punctuate the collection. Each piece is named after an influential and inspiring woman, who has made a tremendous impact on the world.
The Millicent earrings are named for Millicent Fawcett, British feminist, intellectual, political leader, and writer. She is known for her campaigning for women’s voting rights. She also concentrated her efforts to improve women’s opportunity in higher education and founded Newnham College. She later became the president of the National Union of Women’s Suffrage Societies.
