The Irena expands from 5 1/2 inches to 9 1/2 inches, ensuring that one size fits most. Just pull open the sliding clasp to put on, and pull the ends to tighten.

Brass will tarnish with time and exposure to the elements, but may be polished to restore shine.

14k gold-filled will maintain it's thick layer of solid gold for a lifetime of wear. Simply clean with a soft cloth.

The Irena bracelet is named after Irena Sendler, Polish nurse and humanitarian. During World War II, Irena was the head of the children’s section of Zegota, the Polish Council to Aid Jews. Irena smuggled over 2,500 Jewish children away from Nazi-occupied Europe, saving more lives than any other individual during the Holocaust.
