Graced with terra cotta Greek Ceramic pearls, Amazonite heishis, and hammered bronze fork drops, the Annette is finished on vegetable tanned leather. This adjustable necklace is finished with solid brass detailing and wears from 20 to 30 inches.

FEMINA

The Annette Necklace is a part of our Femina collection, which celebrates simple, modern forms and natural materials. Based on striking neutrals, intentional strokes of color punctuate the collection. Each piece is named after an influential and inspiring woman, who has made a tremendous impact on the world.

The Annette Necklace is named after Annette Kellermann, the Australian professional swimmer, vaudeville star, film actress, and writer. Kellermann was one of the first women to wear a one-piece bathing costume, instead of the then-accepted pantaloons, and inspired others to follow her example. Kellermann helped popularize the sport of synchronised swimming, and authored a swimming manual. She appeared in several movies, usually with aquatic themes.  Kellermann was an advocate of health, fitness, and natural beauty throughout her life.

MEASUREMENTS

total length: 20-30 in. (adjustable)

CARE
The piece will tarnish with time and exposure to the elements. Jewelry should be removed before swimming or showering to help maintain shine.  Avoid polishing gemstones.
