We celebrated the opening of our new San Antonio Son of a Sailor location on April 19th. Many of our Austin friends joined our new neighbors in celebrating the opening. Thank you to everyone for helping make this opening a joyful welcome into our new space. We are so excited to be here.
After hiring our newest retail employee, Anna, and spending weeks painting, organizing and filling our new space, it was a blessing to be able to entertain old friends and new neighbors with cocktails and music and introduce people to our goods.
Our new neighborhood, San Antonio’s historic Dignowity Hill, is filled with incredibly kind and vibrant people who showed up to welcome us and see what we bring to the area! Our next door neighbor, Sergio at Pancho’s and Gringo’s, even gave our store a traditional house-warming blessing by throwing coins for good luck. Sergio’s blessing must have worked because the grand opening event was such a success that we never want to stop celebrating it – so we won’t! We’ve been hosting regular Fridays With Friends events to share cocktails and fun with our new friends and neighbors between 5pm and 7pm ever since and having a blast.

Our San Antonio store is located at 904 Nolan Street, just east of Downtown San Antonio.
The shop is open 11am-5pm Wednesday-Friday and 10am-5pm Saturday-Sunday. Come by, see us, and get to know the vibrant community we’re honored to be a part of!
